About Us

I am Prof. (Dr.) A. M. Gurav, currently serving as Professor and Head, Department of Commerce and Management, Shivaji University, Kolhapur (MS, India). With 33 years of academic experience in Commerce and Management, I have worked at D.R.K. College of Commerce and as Principal of Y.C. Warana Mahavidyalaya, Warananagar.

I have pursued numerous advanced qualifications such as:
M.Com. (Costing & Taxation, Advanced Accountancy), M.Phil (Personnel Management), G.D.C.&A., NET (UGC), I.C.W.A.I (I.), P.G.D.C.A., MBA (HRM), ADR, Ph.D. (Finance, HRM, Marketing), M.S.W. (Sociology), D.Litt. (USA – Commerce & Management) .

I am deeply involved in academic and administrative development, contributing to research, seminars, and university-level committees.

Profile Details

I have served as President of the Shivaji University Commerce and Management Teachers Association, Kolhapur and active member of Research Board, Board of Studies in Management, Member of Academic Council, Coordinator of Skill and Creativity Cell, Coordinator of MBA Programme (Rural Development) in the Shivaji University. I am Senate Member and I/C Dean for Faculty of Commerce and Management of Shivaji University, and BOS member of SIBER Kolhapur, BOS Member of RIT, Sakharale and BOS Member of Solapur University, Solapur, Executive Member of Maharashtra Commerce Association, and member of All India Commerce Association.
